Data to Datamine Files

To export table solids to Datamine binary (*.dm, *.dmx) file format:

  1. Right-click on a table in the Project Explorer and select Export | Data to Datamine Files.

  1. In the Export Layers dialog, specify a Folder location, a File Name for the exported file and the Range of data you want to export (or accept the defaults).

    The default file location is the current model/project folder. The default name of the exported file is the name of the table you are exporting.

    Select the Primary Solid associated with a schedule in the current model/project.

  1. Choose a Datamine Binary (.dm, .dmx) File Type.

  1. A preview of the Levels to be exported is shown. You have the option to rename the levels written to the export file. Warnings or errors are indicated in the Status column,

  1. A preview of the Fields that will be written to the export file is shown. You can choose to Skip fields (exclude them from the export) or rename the fields written to the file.

  1. Click Accept to begin the export process.
