Create

Use the tools on the Grid / DTM tab, in the DTM Create group, to create a DTM using one of the following options:

• Click Interpolate Surface to use RBF to interpolate a surface including topography or DTM from low-resolution point data such as drillhole collars, spot heights or other sparse data.

  

• Click Triangulate Surface to triangulate a surface such as topography or Digital Terrain Model (DTM) from string contours or large, high-resolution point data from LiDAR or point clouds.

  

• Click Interactive Triangulate to triangulate a surface including topography or Digital Terrain Model (DTM) from selected data such as string contours or high-resolution point data from LiDAR or point clouds. The surface is modelled using the current Vizex viewing direction.

  

• Select New Plane from Points to create a wireframe surface in a plane defined by points. A polygonal restriction can be defined which will clip the triangle edges. Z values in the constraint file are recalculated and these are included during the surface creation.

  

• Click Generate Contours to generate a Contour lines from a DTM.

  

• Click DTM From Block Model to extract a DTM from a Block Model.
