Pit & Stope Optimisation

Default Optimisation Limits
Default optimisation limits have been applied to both Pit and Stope Optimisers to prevent returning an unfeasible optimisation due to extra waste added to the reserve.
If the Custom Optimisation limits are set:
-
If the input block model is a rotated block model, only the Max Z field will be enabled. All other limits will be disabled (and treated as empty).
This method prevents confusion as to how the bounds (axis-aligned-bounding-box) should be interpreted between world coordinates and model coordinates.
-
Only the Max Z field will be required. All other limits are optional (if enabled - i.e. for non-rotated models).
-
If all limits are provided, the tool should function identically to how it did previously when those same limits were provided
-
-
If some limits are provided and others are omitted:
-
Bounds will be calculated and then clamped based on the user-provided limits
-
In both rotated and non-rotated models, all blocks above the Max Z will be treated as air.
