Delete Data
Use the File | Delete Data command on the Script ribbon in the Macro Commands group to use a form to delete data from a file/s.
The Delete Data command will remove all of the data from a selected file or files, but will not delete the file itself.
Note: The File | Delete command can be used to delete unwanted data from files in a folder. It is intended for an unattended macro command, and as such no confirmation will be required to ensure there are no interruptions to any automated process.
- Select Delete Data from the File menu in the Macro Commands group.
The Delete Data from File form is displayed:

- Select the file containing the data to be deleted using the ellipsis in the File field.
- Set the Type for the file using the drop down if required.
- Click Run to delete the data from the selected file.
